Denise Schreel retires after 39 years
Lakestone Bank & Trust (OTC: CBNC) announces the retirement of long standing and loyal employee, Denise Schreel, AVP, Yale Branch Manager.
Schreel will have worked at the Bank for 39 years when she retires on July 7.
“Denise has been an integral part of not only the Yale community, but our community Bank. Her leadership style is always focused on providing the best service to her customers. She really considers them friends. Her long banking career has impacted the lives of many local customers and businesses and helped them be successful,” said Michael J. Burke, Jr., President of Lakestone Bank & Trust.
Schreel began her career at the Bank right after graduating high school in 1978. She started as a teller and worked her way up to Assistant Manager. In 1997, she transferred to the Memphis Branch to become the Manager. In July of 2015, she went back to her hometown to become the Yale Branch Manager.
About retirement, Schreel said, “I will miss my customers greatly. My retirement plans are to spend time with our 13 grandchildren.”
Schreel currently resides in Melvin with her husband Dennis.
Stephanie Schaefer will transfer to the roll of AVP, Yale Branch Manager. Schaefer has been with the Bank for 14 years and most recently held the position of AVP, Attica Branch Manager. She is a graduate of the Robert M. Perry School of Banking and holds an Associate’s Degree in Business and Liberal Arts from St. Clair Community College.
Schaefer resides in Capac with her family.
